We are able to offer mass production of micro gears with module 0.2, which is out of standard. High geometric tolerance -If the position of the cylindrical edge is set with respect to the of the gear, it is difficult to obtain high reproducibility and accuracy by machining where re-grasping occurs. Since MIM can be integrally molded, high geometric tolerance accuracy can be achieved.

Shape characteristic | The internal helical gear with the teeth formed till the bottom, as shown in picture, it is impossible to realise with machining since the tool cannot reach the bottom in case the bottom side has a lit. Since our μ-MIM® technology uses mould technology, we can realise shapes that is impossible or very costly to realise by machining. Micro internal helical gear with the teeth formed till the edge with module 0.2 or smaller is possible for serial production with our technology. This shape is almost impossible to realise with other conventional manufacturing methods. |
